Arch Red (founded 2003) has developed from a pure bywork R&D firm to a trusted company of experts that provides solutions and software both to large domestic companies and to foreign customers. Some major stages evolution in this path include the following:

2004

Arch Red implements Funet WLAN roaming service to Finnish upper educational institutions in cooperation with CSC.

2005

Arch Red becomes Airwave's first Premium Partner in Finland and the first Airwave AWMS network management solution is deployed to Tampere University of Technology

2006

Deployments of Airwave and different roaming & authentication solutions continue to grow especially in the academic world

Spring 2007

The building of Langaton (=Wireless) Tampere community network begins and Arch Red provides technical solutions for the community. City of Tampere begins to utilize Arch Red's network authentication and roaming solutions.

Fall 2007

Langaton Tampere community network begins and Arch Red provides authentication and network roaming solutions to increasing amount of customers. Also the project for building authentication and roaming solution for private WISP begins.

Spring 2008

As the Arch Red's customer base continues to grow and as the demand for first-class authentication and guest access solutions is more evident, Arch Red begins it first Tekes project. At the same time Arch Red continues to develop reseller network and the international deployments are made.
