Karri Huhtanen (M. Sc.), Chairman of the Board, Managing Director

Prior to the founding of the Arch Red Oy, Karri Huhtanen has worked within wireless communications industry in the research and development departments of an equipment vendor like Nokia and wireless/Internet service providers like Saunalahti Group Oyj and Wireless Network Services Oy. Karri Huhtanen has also researched wireless networks in Tampere University of Technology.

In Arch Red Oy, Karri has worked both as a managing director and as a CTO leading product development and both R&D and business functions of the company.

Jaakko Stenhäll (M. Sc., Industrial Engineering), Business Advisor

Jaakko Stenhäll has been with Arch Red from 2006, and he was appointed as managing director at the beginning of 2008. Prior his joining to Arch Red he has worked for example in Nokia Oyj.

Jaakko Stenhäll has worked earlier as a managing director and continues now as a company's business advisor as Karri Huhtanen returned to the position of the managing director.

Heikki Vatiainen (M. Sc.), Architect

Since 1996 Heikki Vatiainen has worked within networks and protocol research in the Institute of Communications Engineering at the Tampere University of Technology as a researcher and since 2003 as a laboratory engineer. During his undergraduate and post-graduate studies Heikki has participated in the development of Linux ATM-support, MCOP multicast control protocol and its reference implementation and in the development of open source software like the Ethereal network protocol analyser. His work as a lecturer and laboratory engineer for Institute of Communications Engineering gives him a wide perspective to the deployment of new technologies (like IPv6, multicast, etc.) and systems and to the possibilities of the technologies that are still under research.

In Arch Red, Heikki functions as an architect responsible for the system/network/security architecture design.

Sami Keski-Kasari (M. Sc.), Technical Specialist

Sami Keski-Kasari has a strong background in the network and protocols research at the Tampere University of Technology (TUT) in the Institute of Communications Engineering. During his educational and research responsibilities he has gathered extensive knowledge of different authentication systems, broadband technologies and Internet routing related issues as well as experience from several vendors' hardware solutions.

In Arch Red, Sami provides his expertise as a technical specialist.
