Airwave AWMS
Arch Red is the premium partner of Airwave in Finland. Airwave AWMS is a vendor-independent wireless network management software, which can manage thousands of access points.
Airwave AWMS (Airwave Wireless Management Suite) is a vendor-independent network management software which can be used to manage different wireless networks with secure and centralized control. With Airwave's elaborate role-based user views it is also possible to distribute some assisting and reporting functions to the whole organization. This way the IT specialists in the customer's organization can use their time efficiently, while the IT helpdesk can also take advantage of the Airwave AWMS.
Airwave AWMS supports all the major hardware vendors (including Cisco, Aruba, HP/Proxim etc.) and this enables the customer to develop their network without relying on a single hardware vendor for an indefinite time. Airwave AWMS has also support for multiple hardware architectures, which enables both autonomous and thin APs to function at the same time in the same network. This helps the customers get the most from their legacy hardware.
Possible opportunities in service business
Airwave AWMS also provides opportunities to companies providing wireless networks as a service to their customers. It is possible to provide accurate reports to the customer about the usage and performance of the network, thus ensuring and verifying the quality of the service. It is also possible to give the customer an active view of the network management system, enabling the customer to see for himself the process for which they are paying.
